Hi, I'm Annis (she/her), I'm 28, and I live in Essex.

I'm a mum of three (Tucker 4, Daisy 2, Kit 6 months) who misses sleep but loves to read crime, mystery & thriller novels, and everything to do with mermaids and dragons. I also enjoy hard rock music, cooking, making my own jewellery, roller skating and I'm fascinated by everything do with the ocean.

My four year old is obsessed with dinosaurs and Lego, so I'm slowly learning more about both than I ever knew I didn't know!

I love stories that can essentially be boiled down to 'here's a dead body, lets find out what happened to it'. My favourite shows include Bones, Castle, Criminal Minds, CSI, Hawaii Five-0, Midsomer Murders, NCIS & Silent Witness. And, randomly, Supernatural.

My husband, James, loves science-fiction and superheroes, so through him I've fallen in love with Star Trek, Stargate, Star Wars and the various Marvel & DC shows/movies.

My guilty pleasures include people watching, Nickelback, collecting shells/rocks/trinkets/bones/etc, sea shanties and slash fanfiction.
